Can't recall the last time I saw a Corsair that wasnt on 5 1/2 j steels or minilites,this looks lovely. I have to confess to destroying many Corsairs in my youth- we raped them for their gearboxes and diff s then weighed them in, about £15 on the bridge if I remember correctly.

These and MklV Z cars seem to be untouched by OldSkoolFord Scene Tax, won't be long though.

Putting in Escorts. The recipe was one Escort mk 1 or 2 preferably 2 door but anything that cost less than £100 and wasn't completely rotten. Bodge Cortina mk3 2.0 pinto in with Corsair 2000e(Bullet) gearbox and 3:54 diff ( same ratio as RS2000). Fit Capri front struts for discs and mega negative camber. Garnish with lenient MOT.

Drive it around like an 18 year old psycho for a couple of days until some misguided and impressionable youth got a Lombard loan for £1000 and took it off your hands. At one point me and a couple of mates had so many Escorts,Capris and Corsairs parked up all over Milton Keynes housing estates we once took the engine out someone else's car by mistake- in broad daylight whilst the owner was in his kitchen! Had to pay him twice what it was worth to stop him calling the Police.
