This Mk5 Escort is the true representation of what 50 Shades of Grey is in the real world. The only thing missing to compound the blandness of it is the miserable, grey suited, Finance Officer who would have been unlucky enough to receive this as his company car back in 1991.

However, it has some superb dealership plates and no bids at £200.

What a misery wagon. Brilliant, and a bit of a survivor (looks like someone had it welded up in 2016)

I note the escy is a reserve auction - he probably thinks it's worth £750 or something!

As usual, my attention has been grabbed by a Cadillac Fleetwood which would get keyed to fuck if I parked it near the garage or in the work car park due to its antisocial size.

However the white leather and curtains more than makes up for it.

When the earliest AS3 Austin A30 morphed into the A30 that most of us know there was a transition period and this is one of the early A2S4 models which have unique features and is among the earliest of it's kind. Production of these cars began in October 1953 and the very early chassis number denotes that she was built in the first weeks of production and registered in January 1954.

Sir, there's a place called Autoshite where this kind of talk is much welcomed.

Most likely. It's a bit tragic though that Ford Scene Tax will cause this, even though they are possibly one of the worst cars in Ford's back catalogue, whilst more capable contemporary rivals will languish for bugger all in the classifieds for years to come.

I still would though, but it is probably more because of how terrible it may be and bringing a small slice of 1991 to Suffolk, rather than it having any redeeming qualities whatsoever.

bought frorm an elderly gentleman in good condition

I had removed a working engine from a 130ps escort mk5

basically I started the conversion, not really knowing what I was doing

it could do with all being removed and starting again

It's fucked.

Me too. If it actually was £200, it would be a fun misery roffle.

This seller beats that seller's OMGPOHTOSKLZYO by not a narrow margin, though.
