I think it looks lovely, but isn't one that age going to have the nikasil liners?

Nikasil liner issue was pre 2000 v8s. This un is a 6

Also if the dodgy v8 hasnt died yet it probably wont. something to do with high sulphur levels in pez at the supermarket pumps during that time

For eighty fucking grand I'd expect better tyres than bloody Landsails.

I would also expect it to be road legal, but no mot or tax since 2007

'I bought this last year spent a few evenings work on it new plug leads. Dizzy cap rotar arm water pump and general tinkering been sat outside was restored 3 years ago by a steel fabricator who unfortunately decided to attempt a respray. Which is a bad job no shine. But all she needs is a flat down and painting again.

I want to swap for

A motor home or camper preferably 70's or 80's.'

£2,000 or make an offer. 10 months MOT as well!

It's in Matlock so you can have some first time experience driving it round the twisty roads on the way home.

For the record: Watchlisted.

Was involved with 3 of these in 2 door flavour maybe around 87, didn't own one myself but a couple of mates fked about with them for a bit, all 3 were 3.2 silvercoupes owned by Fiatists and were regularly loaded with muchfiller. At the time 130 koops could be bought for the price of a roughish Cappa V6 Ghia or a shabby early SD1 V8 or a half decent 70s Manta B koop.

At the time 70s X1/9s were getting past their best so there was a bit of cheep fun to be had with short-mot examples of those too.

Rough 131 2000 Sports were bought with short mot, used for the legal remainder, then binned/broken up to provide upgrades for Chevettes, Sunbeams, Moggy Minors.

Probably a bit like the 1990s/2000s Alfashite situation around at the moment but it was a generation earlier.
