It does use water and since I have owned it I top it up every 2 weeks and its never caused me any problems.

The engine will get warm when stuck in traffic, I tend to put the heating on and that keeps it at a normal level,

I'd like to rock up with a chisel to break the stop solenoid armour, remove the stop solenoid pin, push start it, break the steering lock and drive away. Bloody Somerset though.

It's along way to go if you rock up, break the chisel, cut yourself on the solenoid armour, drop the stop solenoid pin into the hand brake mechanism, put your knee out push starting it then drive it into a hedge because the steering lock won't come off.

It'd be youtube gold though. I think you should do it.

I'm not sure, in the mid-1990s cars started getting coded keys and immobilisers, this might be early enough to have the easy to bypass keypad immobiliser. Blank keys aren't expensive.
