Love this! My dad had one.....

I had one too, it was only a couple of years old but I spent ages fiddling with the tracking trying to get it to go in a straight line, until I followed another one on a motorway, saw it was weaving about just the same and gave up. I also enjoyed the way when it went over a bump the centre console surround fell off and changing a spark plug required not one but two universal joints. Back of, glad to see.

$_57.JPG$_57.JPGWorth buying for the seats alone, it's good to see what looks like part of a proper cut 'n' shut in the background too. SD1?

Tink it's reasonably local two ewe n'all (Well, it's in Welsh Wales)

For anybody questioning the "da man" reference in the Espero post...

It's located in Blackwood.

Richard Blackwood released a song called "Mama Who Da Man"

....I'll just leave now

Or how about this wank tank for 70 grand?

Originally fitted with a 2.2 diesel engine now after extensive work by overfinch now fitted with a 2.2 diesel engine.

Jog on.

For 70 grand I'd want 700bhp and it shooting flames out the exhaust (and for it to be made of gold).

This is more like it. It's not had the chevy v8 transplant but it has "had work done" that's hopefully more than fitting a cone filter. The way these RR's are going up in price it might not be a bad buy if you can afford to feed it.

That overfinch Defender is extraordinary, it really is just a Defender with a load of generic barry shite stuck on it for £70k!!!! The front seats are particularly ludicrous, they look like flipping touring car seats for gods sake, what on earth are they doing in a Landrover?

^^^^

That green Overfinch Classic does look to be a bit of a bargain and probably a good investment.

All this Range Rover talk reminded me of this I saw in passing earlier today. I know nothing about them. This one has a Ford 2.5 Di engine. Is this ruined or a sensible conversion? Drivers seat looks like a incontinent warthog has been piloting it recently.

Yeah, but the cubby box has extra padding

The 2.5di transit engine isn't the worst in the world is it? I'd love one of these early RR's that one look pretty sensibly priced if it isn't totally rotten.

Shit, I've got the hots for that early RR, the transit engine makes it even more appealing.

Good price and the Tranny engine is not too bad but don't expect to win any drag races.

There seems to be loads of Defenders going round like that. Loads of firms doing them and Defenders in general seem to now be seen more as lifestyle accessories than serious off roaders.

I do wonder if after all the interior changes you'll still need to amputate your elbow to get comfortable driving with the window shut?
