I know I say this about a lot of cars but fugg I wish I'd kept my Conquest Century.  It was in better nick than that one and I paid 350 quid for it.  Needed lots of silly bits doing for a test, but of course it'd be exempt now, and I could be rolling around in pre-selector style.

starts and drives but does body completing, some welding on sills and underneath.Have been done

No it doesn't. Yes it does. Umm. Is this guy Yoda?

What's this in the last pic? The whole thing looks like the reflection of some guy holding a huge tablet, but I don't think this bit is related. Is it a finger, a toe, or...

"Classic citroen being sold for spares or restoration, has some serious rust, note flintstones style floor etc etc, the wings and bonnet are not attached to the car, i have just placed them there for pics, the outer panels are in reasonable condition, the interior is leather but tatty... amazingly after putting a battery on, petrol in the tank and topping up lhm fluid i started the car and moved it from it's over grown resting place at bottom of my garden, suspension rose up nicely, and stayed up, engine ran like a machine gun due in part no doubt to straight through exhaust...and it engaged in gear (column change) and drove at least 20ft..maybe it was just desperate to be rescued....

some history with the car including a previous EON productions ownership (elstree studios james bond production...)...

these cars are very expensive to restore so no time wasting dreamers please. collecting it will take some care.

i will try to answer any questions, no reserve,"

"So why am I selling such a good one? Simple answer is I want a Grand Espace, with this same 3.5 V6 engine, so the beautiful Vel Satis has to go."

Luke is obviously losing his touch! Time was, he wouldn't have sold a car to buy another, he'd have just bought another!

"I will not accept an offer unless contact has been made by phone". Sensible fellow. Just wish he didn't look like he was about to set off into the duck pond. More proof of rising prices? This would have struggled to fetch 1800 not that long ago, shirley?
