Cool Bus

Where's it taking us today? We're going to go and listen to a story.

Hello, I don't know if this will interest you, but I owned bus in 1997, as far as I can remember it's a 1969. I bought it from the local Baptist church, who had it nearly from new, and used to take all the old people out for daytrips all over Suffolk. They bought a nealy new ldv freight rover to replace it, but the old people didn't like it lol like the old Commer. The garage wouldn't take the commer in px, so I bought it for scrap, when I got it home, I thought this is too good to weigh in, and so used it, it was still mot'd and taxed. Six months later a mate of mine begged me to let him buy it, to take his disabled wife, and five kids to Glastonbury, so I sold it to him, he made it and got back ok, and kept it for about 2 years I think, going to glastonbury and Wales in it, then he sold it, because it developed an oil leak, nothing serious, but he couldn't afford to repair it, so sold her on. Glad to see she survived, she was a good old dependable beast, ran like clockwork.
