I love the whispered reverence of these type of ads for shite.

But then if you genuinely believe it influenced Ian Callum to style the DB7 ....

Designed for the Sultan of Brunei - just goes to show money can't buy you taste.

thought vittesse was manual only?

Auto was an optional extra on the Vitesse, but a Vitesse Auto is a rare thing indeed, 99.45589% of Vitesse's were manual.

On the odd accocasion a Vitesse Auto pops up it usually gets the SD1 bods very excited, even more so if its an OHHH EMMM GEEE TWIN PLENUM!!

^ That's what makes it so confusing. People chopped around spoilers, interiors and all sorts as they got burst over the years. The engines are pretty much the same so it's hard to tell what's what.

I avoid that problem by having a straight 6.

The early Vitesse (1982-1984) did have the small front spoiler but no over-riders on the front bumper,

I'll probably have to buy one one day as I only got to drive that one once.

B30 MRK is coming up on the Hpi as a VDP.

I stand corrected on the early bumper over riders though, thanks seth. I knew a guy that had an early 'Y' reg Vitesse with a plain front bumper, perhaps this was a replacement after a shunt, or Rover just didnt fancy fitting over riders that day.

I would love that ital, saw it when it was for sale in classic car weekly (on my manor too and a grand less if I remember) sadly I simply don't have room and at this moment in time I can't bring myself to sell any of my current shite. I'm even using a neighbours drive for one em. Sadly not enough friendly neighbours to allow me to place some prime bl shite on :-(

That looks like a werther's original on wheels. Note that service history finished 90,000miles ago - how hard is it to keep a receipt?
