I think that's Criggion Quarry in the background. Somewhere near there were these..

So there you go, a cool car and a history lesson too.

 @ Cobblers

What a cracker, love the interior. I've lived in Shropshire for 11 years and have driven past Criggion and Breidden Hill every week for the last 5 and never knew the antennas used to be there. The remaining buildings are very evocative and the kind on ones you used to see in 1970's Dr Who episodes

I remember them there as I used to call at the quarry with my last job. There's some sort of strange looking buildings in the area that belong to BT I think, pretty much right next to where antennas were, assume these are the ones you refer to?

The latter looks like it was in the middle of an explosion in a flour factory.

Sounds like a fuggin horsepower overload mate

Swweeeeet God check out the interior in this otherwise bland looking Yank. PLUM FILLED WANTAGE

Once the most expensive Laguna money could buy. Oil leak isn't a biggie, all these V6s do it. Misfire is an ignition coil (£25), they chew through them. Sat nav never works. Sit back and enjoy the sweet V6s purr coupled with ominous voice synthesizer warnings.

Even worse than that, it's a flipping ZVH. Makes no sense to me, but seems to appeal to some people - Take a perfectly good zetec engine, take the nice 16v head off it, drill a load of holes in the block and plug another few up, then cobble a clattery old CVH head onto it. all I can find is that it avoids having to make up a custom exhaust manifold if you are going for TURBO POWER

Check this beauty out, 30k from new, 1 previous owner and nearly a years ticket, in Warrington, £350 BIN! If this was a hatch i'd probably have a crack at it. My favourite wheeltrims of all time as well

I particularly like the way these face lift versions look even more shit than the earlier ones, good work Proton :)

Personally I'd rather save a whole £100 and buy one with double the mileage, no mot, slightly dodgy paint and a noisy gearbox

I'm sure he means winder as in the verb 'to wind', eg "He turned the winder to wind down the window."

What a beauty this would be in somebody's collection:
