I like Corsas...

 

I'm ideally looking for a 5 door diesel one, but would consider others.

 

At the moment I just have the Corolla as collateral, but maybe next month will yield some spare cash...

I've had mine for 9 years now. As long as you watch the rot they are grand little cars.

 

Diesels are getting hard to find but there are plenty of cheap ones about, especially 5 doors because the modifiers tend not to want those.

The only one I know that might be for sale is a GSI! But to be honest it's a total basket case as it rotten underneath and they want strong money for it.

 

They aren't bad cars though. I saw one on my Brothers FB last week local to me. A 1.2 16v 5dr with 6 mths Mot for just £225 that sold almost straight away. So there bargains out there. These tend to either be priced high or barely over scrap value from what I've seen. Just watch out for rot round the master cylinder on the bulkhead. Think from memory that's where my old £30 Corsa 1.2 LS went it's a common problem so I was told.
