This morning I made the effort to go and meet Didier, the local 2cv specialist. I first met him last year at a local show, and despite my appalling French and his non existant English, he had invited me to his workshop. He usually only does 2CVs and as I like them and have a hankering for a van, today I went to see him. Oh my! Fantastic workmanship from a true enthusiast. First the pictures of the 2CVs and at the end a picture of a 1979 R6 TL he is selling. Sadly my phone went flat just as I was starting on the R6 so just the one photo, but I will happily go back and take more if anyone is interested. It has a genuine 70k km from new, a brand new CT (MOT) that expires in Oct 2020, a new tyre/exhaust and new brakes. The seats are like new, as is the underside. It has a tow bar. The paint is scruffy, some surface rust/lacquer peel etc. Price is 2900 Euro as is or 5k with fresh paint. H also had a new body for a Mehari which he is building for a customer.
