Jackytwoshoes and Marm popped over this morning for some moped fettling, however, things didn't quite work out as anticipated, did it lads, eh? Eh?

 

Enter stage right a floppytop 205 and a Skoda Favorite estate

However, on the moped front  a plug, HT lead, plug cap and some fuel line have been purchased.

I turned up late, useless and hungover and wistfully pondered all the cars I've loved and lost whilst these two made things worse on the 205 so that they could make them better again.

Finally got to experience what it's like to drive a Favorit - what a privilege, and what a lovely clean and original car.

 

Oh and I got to sit on the Moped.

 

Thanks to Ken's efforts and fabulously equipped workshop some parts of the CJ are now VERY clean. The vanity mirror is once again aptly named. And yeah, following a shot of Redex, basically, TURBO. I reckon it would see off a GTI no problem. Most importantly, no fuel leaks on the way home, and it smells much better now the exhaust manifold isn't covered in oil... Yeah, it's like a new car really...

Heh, welcome to the North London Valeting Emporium. A valeting product for every part on the car and then some I think. 

 

That poor carb was drowning in oily gunge, it was the right thing to do lol.

 

The Skoda and 205 were great to drive, the 205 was a tad peppier but the sheer practicality of the Skoda gave it the edge, slightly.

 

Really want to be let loose on the 205 with my magic eraser and bottle of Verso
