PhilA Posted January 10, 2021 Author Posted January 10, 2021 Much of this today, no pictures of bleeding brakes because I was covered in brake fluid. But, it stops again. The shoes really don't fit the drums well because I can't get the pedal as high as I'd like but they do stop the car adequately now. It was smoking like a tramp steamer when I first fired it up too. PhilA Posted January 10, 2021 Author Posted January 10, 2021 I can't get the rears to lock up but they are applying effort to the wheels. I guess that's good (the rear cylinders are a different diameter to the front so so brake less than the fronts). Â I'm going to go take it for a quick drive to check how it's going and stopping. Brakes still binding a little at the back when I've gone down the road a ways so it's gotta be servoing itself on at speed, meaning I've got the anchor at the wrong angle.
