The field of dreams in 2016 was amusing. I had so much mud caked in the front wheels that I had a death wobble above 60mph. I ended up stopping in a motorway services and scraping big chunks of it out of the wheels.

Wish this had been a different colour just to highlight just how filthy it was. Back when I was doing 550 miles a weekend.

And after. Much nicer.

Any vehicle owned by my mate Max, he literally never cleans them in or out, and the same could almost be said of himself!

add that unique combination with his unit being down a dirt/mud track, and you have the conditions for absolute, ingrained filth :)

I wash and valet everything I borrow off him for my own health and safety ;)

I will endevour to get some decent pics of the grime!

What on earth is the story with the orange indicators?

Not aware of ever seeing those before...assuming some non-EU market...

Did them myself with tint spray, and film-wrapped the fog lights. Car looked too boring and needed a pop of colour.

I glanced at the Rover, no wait it's a Citroen in the first picture.

That actually looks really smart against a dark colour on the S2 shape I reckon. Would work with a white car too I think...

Will keep that in mind in case I ever wind up with another S2 Xant.

The smoked lenses on the S1 I generally prefer though, the clear lenses on the S2 weren't as nice looking I thought. Red and smoke just looks classier I think. Liked that look on the late model Sierras too - especially if the car was a nice bright colour like Wedgewood Blue.

Rental Jimny, after being (quite deliberately) swamped by the bow wave of some massive tourist bus thing on Frazer Island, while fording a creek.
