Recommended Place to Rebuild Power Steering Pump?

Does anyone know a place in the North East that can rebuild the power steering pump for my Celsior? A rebuild kit and bearings are available from Lexus, but I'm wondering if I can get it rebuilt somewhere if it doesn't cost much more than a hundred quid maybe. The only alternative would be ordering one from the states.

If you can find a garage with a 10t press, they'd probably press you the bearings for a few beer tickets.

Thanks for the tips guys. I've sent half a dozen power steering refurbishment places an email yesterday but havent gotten any reply yet. If I don't find a place that can rebuild it for less than 100 quid in the next week or so I'll just order one from Rockauto instead.

That's normal. You are in England now.

In two weeks you will get plenty of responses offering the refurb for 47p.

In the meantime you will have shelled out a shitload of dosh to get your heap back on the road.

 

Victorian clocks just have longer pendulums, you know.

Oh, and they stop altogether while doing the Westminster chime.

Gave them a call today, it'll easily be over 200£ so a re-manufactured one from Rockauto might be the best option now.
