No I believe it was restored in the 90's at which time the doors were changed

That is LUSH.    Don't fret about the doors or any other mod - it looks absolutely lovely and the only unmodified Mk1 I ever saw was the one I had off an Aunt which was untouched from new but had no floors and not much of either subframe....  Minis were made to be upgraded.   Nicely, mind, like this one is.
