Picked this up last week. For the princely sum of £200 it needed a caliper and a spring, and some other little bits. Third owner with the first being the army in Germany oddly. It’s a Spritely 1.9td and I think it’s 115 break.

I’m quite impressed with it, the build quality isn’t as crap as I thought and on a run yesterday it gave me 49mpg.

It has its rattles.. but its tested to October so it can rattle away for now 34de65fffab983e34e63095b26d5b8c0.jpg

I like these. I drove a 2.0 lpt automatic example in New England a few years ago and it really impressed me with its performance and comfort :)

I do like the look of these Volvo's. Unfortunately I like the Saab more and it's not really a project car I'd go for.

Although she wants a dog soon and you always need an estate for those...

The last good Renner diesel isn't it, the dti?

1.9DCi at this age like a Laguna I think.

I also bought a £200 small modern* diesel estate that needed a brake caliper recently, I think I prefer yours.

Yeah I was surprised that under the huge great engine cover sits a big standard Renault 8v diesel

I like these an awful lot. Well bought for that price!
