late 90's merc licker around?

Whilst chatting to our architects I spotted this slowly becoming part of the garden.

Been sat at least 4 years and has sentimental value. I cannot remember what. I told them it was worth nothing as it would cost lots to recommission and it was only worth weigh in or parts. The longer it sat the less its chances

 

If anyone on here wants it I could ask and get phone numbers etc. I suspect it will need a good sympathetic chat along the lines of what it means to them and what would be done to it and why.  What they value it at? I fished but only got some people (read scrappers and or pikeys) had stopped to ask and been refused. Hubby was not around so got no more details.

It does have a good history for one of these. Must have been cared for before it was off the road
