Nah sorry. The interior looks like it was hacked out with a blunt chainsaw...it's all fucked and what's left is covered in oily shart... there is a gearbox lying in the back.

It's like this with every scrapyard SVX, weirdly. 

I've seen cars with the front end lasered off just to get at the engine. That's the first thing which goes, because they're worth money. There was another car with an interior that someone had deliberately slashed with a knife so no one else would use it, and yet another SVX had its facia hacked to pieces to get the instrument pack out.

Sorry, no pics...I didnt hang around after your first answer.

The dash was ripped out from the right hand side , still affixed on the left so all bent and ripped in the middle, and it was left hanging across what was left of the front seats (black leather iirc) which looked like they had been deliberately cut and slashed up. There was a head unit in it but the front fascia was smashed off leaving just the body in its mounting frame spewing circuit boards. Both seats were loose, not fixed down and there was a gearbox....I never looked that closely, dunno if it was from this car even, lying on the floor. No mats in sight and the original carpets were under a few inches of oily water.

 

It had no reg plates, but a "CH" oval sticker on the back - They would never have been homologated for France and I doubt anyone would have gone to the efforts to import and register one, which is a massive pain in the cunt for Grey import stuff.

 

 

This used to be my favourite scrapyard and despite being a massive drive away I would go regularly as they always had decent stuff and you were free to wander at leisure....now you need to beg to be let into the park and its all just a sea of 307s and Mondeos. Everything is properly fucked up by other customers and the staff themselves...I was looking for a bottom radiator hose today....loads there but every single one slashed ... cutting the bottom hose seems to be the way they "drain" the coolant.

I haven't been past recently, but there used to be several SVXs in various states behind Ye Old Ogmore Arms in Evanstown/Gilfach Goch, I'll take a look next time I'm over that way. (The pub is known by some as The Slaughtered Lamb and these days includes a tattoo parlour)
