I saw a Fiat saloon I'd never heard of on the motorway yesterday - a Linea... on Polish plates I think. Looked more shitey and higher riding than in the pics I just found on Google...

 

 

Definitely a case of future-shite!

Hey I wouldnt kick that Europa thing outta bed. Tell you what it is, the Italians, despite not being able to organise a piss-up in a brewery (due to being permanently 100% distracted by pretty girls and bling sunglasses), are pretty adept at doing deals to get their shite out across the world. Russia, Poland, the dog end of eastern europe, south america, even fuggin North Korea, theyre all churning out old rammel that started out on an aftershave-soaked Turin drawing board.

I saw one of those Lineas in Portugal, quite a nicely-proportioned piece of kit. Heck, I like Grande Puntos and Bravas (as I get 'em as rental cars a lot), so I'd hit it.Looks like they've just wanged an Ital front end on that 128 - funky ad music mind

Linea is a Grande Punto saloon - another example of a booted hatchback that doesn't make it to these shores.
