Someone save this? Peugeot 405

I’ve been in touch about this 405 estate but just can not justify a trip right down to the south coast for it at the moment, especially has the car hasn’t got an MOT. I happen to know the owner would take next to nothing for it to be saved, and it’s a genuine 1 owner diesel model, m reg and somewhere around 240k on the clock. It has been taken for an MOT but failed on ball joints which are in the boot ready to be fitted .

Long shot but if anyone buys it I wouldn’t mind first refusal!

Despite being on t'south coast and having a vested interest in 405s, this is still 2.5hrs away from me (01202 is Bournemouth/Poole).  I would snap this up in an instant if I had the time.

 

That said, if someone is interested in it with a year's ticket, I could be persuaded to buy it, fit the ball-joints, MOT it and sell it on.

I love the 405, estates are even better, diesel for OMG MPG's £100 for OMG Cheapness. Dorset for OMG fucking miles away. 

 

I must stop reading, I have zero use for another car with no MOT..

I'm interested in it either way, but probably too busy at the moment to go fetch it and get it tested.

So it could be bought and entrusted to him to whack on an MoT, provided he agrees to the job.

It could then be picked up from there with the two finger salute waved at the fucking Gestapo all the way.
