Woman at work has this blocking here driveway with a busted gearbox (her description of the fault).

Told her she'd only get scrap value for it, but thought someone here could make use of it, seeing as some seem to have a love for these. Full of Ghia goodies including a leather interior and only 50,000 miles on the engine. She "thinks" it is 1200cc.

I haven't seen it recently, but when I last saw it, I only noticed a bit of rust here and there, but no real sign of any rot. Finished in white and needs a polish. Situated near Chingford in London.

If anyone is interested I'll get some more details and photos from her, otherwise I'll tell her to get a scrappy to take it away.

That to me screams that it’s probably a duff CVT, sadly. If so it’s a scrapper.
