Love the Carlton. GR8 4 holidays and tat carrying...

This Aerostar has got to be the most basic I've ever seen (no wood on the panels or tanned leather and plastic interior or even a decent set of slot-mags  )

Easily the rustiest 309 I have ever seen, and its a late one too! Plenty salt on your roads in winter then?

Carlton is YUM YUM YUM. Registration suggests it started out life in Luton. Our next door neighbour was a manager at the Vauxhall factory, he had a black carlton wagon on a B-reg. Might be....

nice snaps:) In fact your post has reminded me to get a picture of an R reg (i think) Mercedes in my college car park with rusty arches, something i have never seen before. Liking the Charlton most !

Its in a place called Hasguard Cross, 6 miles from Haverfordwest. Its never been far from home because DE is a Haverfordwest tag.

As to the comments about the Carlton - Its 2 mins from where I live. Use to see it kicking around a lot with timber in the back. Very very tempted to wave a few tenners under the owners nose

In fact that looks very much like it's at my late uncle's old workshop (more or less next to West Wales Diving and backing onto the caravan site.)

Thats the place :D On the road to Dale

That guy with the Sunbeam is taking a risk leaving out in the open like that! If the yoof of today realised what it was capable of that'd be twocked and hammered in no time at all, especially when 1970's door locks arent exactly much of a deterrent. If I had one of those I'd be scared to leave it on a petrol forecourt when buying papers/lucozade orange/lion bars, etc

Today I passed the house that had the white, mouldy C plate Micra on the drive and its gone!

Days (the Swansea Ford dealers) use to have 'GO FOR (Ford badge) TO DAY' on the plates, this half tidy but dirty Sapphire still has its dealer plates.

And whilst taking shots of Henrhyd falls, this beast was landed on a nearby farm -

Nice pics - all the dissolving white micra needs is banded steels and a roofrack, surely? Nice to see a Lottie Sunbeam not wrapped up in cotton wool.

There's a newer Merc ML I know of which has outbreaks of tinworm. I'll stick it in my next update.

Any info on the Hi-ace? The drivers door on that one is in far better shape than the one on mine.
