95 quid Peugeot Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 I had a look at a car which seems ideal for newly changed circumstances. Due to time I didn't check mot history before I left. Seller away till tomorrow afternoon, however putting reg into mot history doesn't show reg. neither does my trader insurance. Anyone able to check out for me. Happy to reimburse. Reg. OE 56 JYSOr without me saying what car it is.
BeEP Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 Shows up ok on DVLA vehicle enquiry; MOT to 26/7/18. Agree it's not recognised on MOT history page but I've found that with a few cars; no idea why!
Matt Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 The only service I can find it on is the regular DVLA check that shows MOT and tax expiry dates. Has it been on a private plate until recently?
DSdriver Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 Generally if a car has been on a private plate it is reissued the plate it first started with. Unless it was registered from new with a private plate. mk2_craig 1
Dave_Q Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 If it's been on a private plate it normally shows up on cazana but nothing for this one. My £1 is on it being from Northern Ireland - when I bought my last Scoob from Belfast, it showed up on the MOT status checker like this one does but no MOT history as their MOT system is separate, and not history checkable online.
95 quid Peugeot Posted September 23, 2017 Author Posted September 23, 2017 Seller just contacted me. As you all correctly thought. It was on private late until this morning before me viewing. Thanks left for all that assisted. That's why I appreciate this site DSdriver 1
