Braddon81 Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 My Talbot-badged Simca/Dodge 1100 hi-top van had exactly that type of Talbot badge on the bonnet edge (and a Dodge transfer, G50-style on the RH rear door) It was a 1980 model. The plastic Talbot badge was brought in to use from October 1980 for the 1981 model year onwards.

Bren Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 Anybody have the nice majorette model? Had the blue one in the 70's - closest I have come to owning a simca.
Uncle Jimmy Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 Got very close to buying a 1204 hatchback last year. Rust was the worry, so I was skeptical about it, when I did get around to looking at it, it had been sold for £300...I did have a good look nonetheless. Turned out that it had been off the road since 1978, inside all that time, very little rust and low mileage...I was upset with myself! A few weeks later of course it reappeared on a well known auction site, for £2k I think...
Split_Pin Posted September 10, 2017 Posted September 10, 2017 I had 2 of the Majorette toy ones, I'm fairly sure I still have one. I also have a heap 1/43 part works example but I'd really like the French or Spanish Dinky item.
