Our local BP sellers midnight flight

You may have heard this...One of our local BP dealers had a windfall. He went to the bank for a loan of $10,000. Bank made a slight error and gave him $10,000,000. He got his hands on about $4 mil and took off. latest news is he may be in Hong Kong (he is Chinese apparently).The Whole town is quietly giggling at the banks error.

Yeah it was on our national news last night, don't know which channel but I saw the location of the reporter and all I thought was "WTF is ROTORUA"

Great story this. Speaking as a customer of the bank responsible, I can only say I hope they burn their way through the lot before they get caught...

it happened to me not so long ago but they only gave me 0.001% of what they gifted in Rotorua..i said nowt and kept it..hence one Canon G10 camera later...
