Thought I would share some of my most recent chod spottage, starting with a grossly overpriced VW camper, seller has dropped it to 11k, BUT the paint job was done by a wazzock, and is peeling by the window rubbers. It is a fucking N/A dizzle for ultimate misery, and has been bizarrely retrimmed inside in cream leather, not worth half what he wants as it is cosmetically awful

Autoshite camping holidays circa 1983, genuine Ascona, belongs to the same bloke who has the Ascona-ised Cavalier mk2 estate you see around Ipswich

Also spotted heading eastbound, this overland tour operator's Mercedes SK 4x4, seems this firm called Dragoman have a few bases, and do South America & Africa, their UK base is in Stowmarket after doing a bit of googling, probably on it's way to Orwell Trucks at Martlesham for a bit of work. Note the spare leaf springs on the back!

A little update, spotted just a short while ago about 100 yds from my gaff, an Eagle Quest II Vauxhall Carlton limo, and a Pugrat 205 Look that belongs to someone who works in the caf. Seaside towns often bring good rammel spottage, and these are on my doorstep!

Spot the bonus mk2 Fellatio LXi that belongs to someone in the bungalows, it's pretty rust free as well!

Good spots Felly.

I saw that Carlton myself in Bury St Edmunds a few weeks ago. I haven't got a clue what anyone would be using it for now, but like the fact it is still around and in good condition.

Also found it strange to see a Carlton on an M reg, but there is probably a decent reason for that.

Stockpiled at the converters possibly. I have seen it a few times outside the bungalows next to my gaff. What are the converters going to do now there are no more Aussie Fords to stretch & hearsificate?

That VW camper is still force nail now at £10,250, he is dreaming, nobody wants the asthmatic diesel, I think walking is faster

After years of reliable 2.9 Granadas or straight six Carltons, when will the first Insignia shit it’s engine on the way to a funeral?

Posted

That is a very valid point. And what will happen when PSA axe the Insignia? When I'm done they can just chuck me in the oven direct from the undertaker's Vauxhall Vivaro LOL
