Seen this on ytube with this irish guy givin a demmo.

I bought one and used it on the car to to extend the o/side front b/pipe on a 2010 cmax,(as you know  with the cars nowadays you gotta remove loads of crap to get to anything)Anyhow this POWERHAND BRAKE PIPE FLARE KIT was great and simple to use. does COPPER + STEEL brake lines, you can get it with other size dies to suit your car. It does SINGLE and DOUBLE FLARE'S simply by reversing the Black thingy :-D

Don't know how to get the youtube video up onto here SORRY :-(

It's a BRITISH made tool, and only 2 ring spanners 10mm + 16mm or ratchet sockets depending on amount of space under vehicle.

Improved version ^^^   ADJUSTABLE HAMMER,tho which end I'm still working on :?

When piecing brake pipes the hardest bit is that the original pipes are steel and difficut to clamp to swage the end. Does this clamp better than a normal flaring  tool?

I have one of those. It's bloody brilliant. Redone all the brake lines on a mates e46 and it made the job (almost) painless

Those pipe flaring tools are great but on steel pipes make sure the pipe and the inside of the tool are totally clean and grease /oil free or the pipe slips as you try and flare it . A smear of valve grinding paste can help it grip too

Yep they're brilliant, perfect flares everytime.

Yeah Like I said think the paint is a type of powder coat.I found the best way to remove was a pen type gas torch (lack of space) to soften the paint/plastic then a straight bladed knife(don't tell the wife) to scrape off, then a bit of wire wool. still a pig of a job tho.

Easiest part was using the tool  :-D  I've found personally this Powerhand jobbie way better than other/normal flaring kits with their loads of bits and pieces

Bandfile, sands places that there weren't even places before! Best £35 I ever spend and the sandpaper hasn't needed changing yet.

^^^ can you buy a 'beltsander' as a drill accessory?

I imagine not as sleek/versatile as a designed for the job one :(

I have a bit of an issue (with ToMM©) lifting up >> the suspension is very 'spindly' and doesn't have large pressings to crank a TJ under.

I use TJ+wood block between sill jacking point/floor... then AxleStands under chassis. Bit of a drag - but SAFE!!
