It's crammed full of interesting stuff. I was given a copy as a Christmas pressie a couple of years ago and couldn't put it down. There's another one which has pages from the 70s and 80s too.

Jalopy magazine was obviously later than 1970's.

But the car verdicts/ buyers guides were hilarious.

If only I could read some of them again.

Along the lines of:

"Likely to dissolve after an overnight rain shower. Just leaving a car shaped brown stain on the drive"

Etc.

I have a big pile of Jalopy mags in one of the boxes marked 'miscellaneous' in the loft (of which there are many). I guess I should dig them out but it's basically like this place in paper format.
