For Sale Fs- 1.7 Puma £350 Bb5

Due to getting the mgf, the puma has become surplus to requirements.

 

My plan was to fix CV boot, mot it and then sell it for £500.

 

If it can be gone this week then it can go for £350 which is less than it owes me so far.

Currently taxed.

 

Good bits

1.7 engine is great

Oil change last Saturday

Had lower arms including ballpoints (all new bolts fitted)

New discs and pads (correct size!)

Brand new clutch and slave cylinder

Caliper bolts are definitely done up

Included are arb bushes (but not needed)

4 budget tyres with loads of tread left

Air con works

Remote central locking fob works

Funky puma key ring

 

Not so great

Needs CV joint boot (comes with a stretchy one ready to fit)

Bit if wear on driver's side bolster

Rear arches have the ford acne but a poke shows it is just surface

Door open light is always on (new courtesy switches fitted yesterday)

 

When we had it up on the ramp it looks pretty clean underneath.

 

If I hadn't got the MGF it would be staying as it is an ace car to drive.

This seemed a fine steed last weekend and worth every penny of the £500 I said to advertise it for nevermind £350.

Once get new MOT and get the CV boot done it will be £500 - was half hoping someone here would want it, so reduced for painless sale

It's certainly in better condition than when I owned it by the sounds of things

Can't go wrong there, the CV boot is an easy enough job with an impact gun.

I sent a link to my niece, she fancies something nippier and cooler than her pink Daihatsu Charade, but she turned it down ("Sorry Joe I think it's ugly"). Ho hum.
