Dad Egg's 1994 Escort 1.6 hatchback - 'sapphire' special edition has failed it's MOT today - lots of chassis rust and a £500 quote to repair. It's been squeeking friendly MOTs for a while.

 

Otherwise a sound car, just had a new battery has the 90bhp zetec engine. Genuine 70,000 miles, history of the car known from new.rear arches are of course crusty.

 

In Faversham, Kent.

 

A handful of pounds would take it if anyone wants to practice their welding. Otherwise weighed in very shortly - cartakeback say £80.

Paul- this one is on hold for a bit, as my grandad has gone into hospital so car is in limbo til my dad has got the time to sort it out. He might still save it himself...(he's slept on it) he's had it 18 years.

 

Having said that, I expect I'll shortly be offering my grandads 306 XUD here too...
