Ah but, I am sure you know many of your favourite tracks have 1950s origins!

Many of my favourite tracks have even 1920s origins, and so do yours, btw.

What I meant, however, is that it looks like people born in the 60s (mostly) listen to a different generation of music than people born in the 50s,

to the degree, that someone born in '61 listens to different stuff than someone born in '59.

I guess it's because everyone born in the 60s only developed his taste in music after the British Invasion, whereas everyone born in the 50s was still exposed to pre BI.

That Madonna thing is now lolling on stages in skimpy clothes for a felt 70 odd years.

Time to introduce her to the Death thread?

DAMN YOU, TIMMY MALLET

Shepfact: I have listened to none of the above songs in the car at any time during the 14 years I have owned it.

Pressed play on the CD in my Alfa the other day, only to find it was the CD of "Strictly 1995 Bangers" from when that head unit was fitted in the last car.

This means I need a new playlist of "Strictly 2001 Bangers" and it was a good year.
