Current fleet:

Fix or replace fuel tank on the E38.

De-sticker the B10M and do a couple of minor repairs.

Repaint the Tiger into Midland Red North colours.

 

The Future:

Expand the commercial fleet. Could be a decker, a truck or something agricultural.

Buying/selling depending entirely on what comes up for sale.

I have wanted a Mazda MX5 since I first read about them in CAR magazine back in 1989. I think 27 years is long enough to wait for something so ambition this year is to get one.

 

It will probably be a mark one or maybe a two so this year I will be learning to weld!

Yeah if you get a mk3 you'll miss out on the "proper" mx5 experience and still have to deal with rust.

Scrap or ebay the Swift.

Test the Ka again and either use it or actually try and sell it.

Fix the ST but get someone else to change the door.

Paint the red oxide bit of my Fiesta mk2 with some proper paint.

Find out if the mk1 Fiesta does have hgf or not and actually get it out the garage and use it.

Life wise, empty the garage of shit (like a sink) clear the loft so we can use it and carry on being a cock!

Dispose of the 1100 and Astra as I've only got room for 2 cars.

Dispose of all the projects that I'll never finish in the foreseeable future, construct a large shed/workshop in my back garden, give up my unit and retire from work in September.

 

Reduce my fleet to five road legal vehicles and definitely not buy any more.

Jaguar X-type - tidy up and sell

 

Jaguar XJ8 - some bodywork improvement due

 

MGF 1.8 - upgrade headlights so I can actually see at night

 

MGF 1.8 vvc - ditto plus find a replacement sidelight after someone stloe mine in Newark

 

Also just drive the MG's and the big Jag more, cos memories are more important than fuel costs.

 

Buying: not really sure but I have been looking at early Mondeo's, in fact came very close to bidding on a white one today via Ebay.

 

Life: convince girlfriend to let me drive her Jaguar xjs more often.

Plans for the year include finishing the kitchen and bathroom so I can finally do the drive and build the garage.....

Car related I plan to get the A35 and the VDP on the road probably sell the A35 once the VDP is sorted do the cam belt and waterpump on the petrol PT and bring it up to show standard and convert the Dizzler PT into a van for work if I get all that done I will make a start on the 1100 and buy a Landcrab...
