Help winging a wing from Oxford to South London/Surrey

Hello folks,

I've been offered a rust free front wing FOC which is in Oxford. The 'seller' would like it gone son, so before I try to get up there I wondered if any kind shitters were likely to be heading anywhere from Oxford towards South London, Surrey or North West Kent over the next week or two and could help out to bring it this in this direction. I'll gladly contribute to fuel, or provide Christmassey booze in gratitude, or whatever. I'm near Caterham Surrey, J6 of the M25 but anywhere in this direction could be really useful, any help appreciated.

I can certainly possibly get the wing from Oxford and relay it to Beaconsfield services way.

Does this still need to happen? Off work all next week so could at least get it and store it in the garden until some form of relay can be formed? And get it to the M4 at maidenheadish or m40 at beaconsfield VERY easily

Thanks v much for the offer, sorry I've not updated this.

The wing is in Headington which I think is between Oxford and the M40. I've also bought a valance panel from Bracknell which I need to collect, Beko if you could get the wing to Maidenhead or Beaconsfield area that would be incredibly helpful, I could collect both in one trip. Obvs I would cover petrol/time or booze/cake/all day breakfast equivalent to suit you.

 

I'll check on logistics and PM you when I know more if that's ok.

Let me know, I'm off work now until Jan, although not about on Monday (unless I've collected it by then, going to marlow so Maidenhead and Beaconsfield very doable.

Beko, Meshking, Peter C... Apologies for going all radio silence and being shite at following this up. Christmas sort of got in the way and plans proved difficult to follow through due to relatives or excess sherry intake, and then I ended up by chance buying a valance and front bumper from someone else in Bracknell so I combined with Oxford and a visit to a chum in Windsor, did a round trip and got the lot myself.

 

Huge thanks for your generous offers of help though, it's really really appreciated, and is one of the things that makes this place great. If I can ever return the kind offer I will. Have a photo of the booty for your troubles:
