Look like rover 800 lights

 

Yep, I always wondered how these had Rover 800 rear lights several years before the Rover 800 did.

Absolutely top shout with the Murena, it looks a right belter.

 

The rear lamp clusters are bespoke units to the Murena. However they are based around Horizon units with extra wrap around portions on the corners. Door handles are Lancia Beta Coupe/Hpe items. Door mirrors are early spec Lancia Delta._20161214_125809.JPG

Replies to a few queries........chassis is galvanised on Murenas, not on Bagheeras. Xantia is a hatch.

Rancho coupe now bought.....nice guy, had it for 5 years, so not bought to flog on.........................apart from circuitous gearchange, and offset pedals [and l.h.d.] obv, great to drive, with, bizarrely, typical French ride comfort. Solex carb can be a bit of an arse, so I spoke to a various nice man at Jenvey, who said converting to fuel injection would not be beyond the wit of man....................might also see about polybushing gearchange which is a trifle vague..................

 

Collection early next year......................................Xantia has had many offers, will make decision about that shortly.

I had a Murena 2.2 for a while.  It was mega fab.  Comfy, and very fast and grippy.  Mine had a yobbo exhaust, that being its only real snag.  I would love another Murena.

 

This was my one.  Note that as a bonus the seats are made out of 1980s porn knicker fabric.
