Father the stags day started on Wednesday night while he was enjoying libations at a party up Lunnon.

Nice trouble free drive back to North Devon, the indicator fault kept him amused. the gearbox rumble was nowhere near as bad as he expected and the suspension clonk can be lived with until the weather is more inclement, and becomes a desperate fix

 

 

Even Tidy the orse approves.. actually tidy the orse was waiting for an apple

 

 

Next step will involve me riding in taxis and HSTs to get to Tiverton for dad to collect me, me to drop him home and then whizz back to High Wycombeshite

The tarka line has a timetable that allows you to disembark, swing by the local for a pair of pints and then catch the next train onto the next stop.

Gave the car a very quick once over, oil, coolant, tyre pressures and screen wash. 

 

Fixed the door mirror

 

 

and the wobbly indicator

 

 

then set off on 200 mile drive home.

 

the growl on the gearbox is just as the clutch engages but only if there is any throttle. Easy enough to live with

 

Couldnt find the clonking on the front suspension but then M5/M4 are pretty smooth these days.

 

Barry speakers on rear parcel shelf rattled quite a lot. The intention is to put these into a steady orbit

It looks to be a great little motor. Utterly bargain basement price, but still modern looking enough that it doesn't look like you're driving around in a 120quid motor.
