No, Jags are made by the same people who have always made Jags; but Jaguar are owned by the same folk who made the Rover "City" thing.

Eh?

Edit. Oh. Sorry... As you were.

Are they?  Isn't Brown's Lane being wound down/already closed, in favour of Halewood, home of the commie-built Ford Escort?  Or is Halewood all about Freelanders now?  Or am I being a mushroom as usual?

Surely they still have a fleet of 75 V8's that have been mothballed...

One of the governments jobs is to promote UK goods and industry both here and overseas. Opting to punt about in a BMW rather than a Jag pisses on that quite a bit.

In 1975 a fleet of black Wolseley's were the preferred carriages.

According to t'internet Brown's lane stopped making cars in 2005 when X350 production moved to Castle Bromwich, although it still makes components for JLR.

Halewood stopped making Jags when the X-Type ended.

Some Jags are going to be made at Land Rover in Solihull - which is apparently the first time they have made any non Land-Rover stuff there since the SD1.
