50cc Moped T&G

Looking back I see I said I thought a pile of moped parts was a better way to spend £32 than beer and curry, lucky you are miles away from me!

Im almost tempted

but fear that it would also spend a long time being bits in a shed.

Plus you are fortunately far enough away from me to put temptation out of my way.

I'd suggest each frame and V5 for £20 on eBay and then flog the rest of the bits as a job lot - you should clear enough for a decent evening out.

Finally found me a victim new custodian for my rank moped kit.

How he managed to get all the parts in that C2 and still have room for people I don't know.

How all that went in the boot I don't know. A skelly is on the cards I think.

Attention shite moped fans: here is a rare thing, a basket case so hopeless even I'm not gonna bid.

£10, ending soon, don't all rush at once.

^^^ link is broken, but then again that looks so rank that - like your good self - I wouldn't even be placing a derisory bid.

It still looks like a lot of fun for £10, I have spent £10 on much more boring stuff. Lucky it had finished before I had seen this post!

Simply that - something around the £200 to £300 mark, preferably really simple and really lightweight

A year later... Achieved!

Anyone got an old Tomos or Puch moped lying about?

Im still hankering after one of these.

The Moped of D0om is still doing sterling service however. It continues to be utterly shite, but utterly reliable ( except a slightly iffy ignition switch).

Love it to bits I do.

My first moped was a Puch MS50D, I nearly found one last year at a reasonable price but was second in the queue.

1970s’ Puch M50—no documentation but is complete and runs very well.  Wheels are very good considering age.  The 2-gear box functions very well, in fact a joy to ride.  Brakes work OK.  I am getting older and need the space in the garage!  Feel it needs someone to love it and should she be possible to get DVLA age-related registration.  Needs only slight electrical tinkering with lights and horn.  £350.

Not the MS but close

Personally I really want a Tomos again - preferably a Disco
