Mike D Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 Time for my Tredia to move on to pastures new, it's an '84 lhd 1400 GLX, with the POWER&ECONOMY lever No tax on it at the mo, but i can do that for cost, and i think it has 4 or 5 months test. Runs lovely £300
Station Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 That reminds me of my old Corolla that I had for a week. http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/dZ ... directlink It's hard to love 'metallic lime green'. edit: Fuck Picasa.
MrRegieRitmo Posted March 31, 2009 Posted March 31, 2009 That reminds me of my old Corolla that I had for a week. It's hard to love 'metallic lime green'. Picture FAIL
pandamonium Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 edit: Fuck Picasa. That's harsh. I mean, I know he did some wonky paintings, but I'm sure he was a nice guy really.Anyway, Tredia looks superb, even the LHDness wouldnt put me off.
gtd2000 Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 What's the history of this car then?i.e. it's LHD - how did it end up in the UK?
r.welfare Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 GR8 4 pretending you're Gene Wilder in "The Woman In Red". Marvellous.
Hertz Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 GR8 4 pretending you're Gene Wilder in "The Woman In Red". Marvellous.Hi M8 If Kelly Le Brock is included I might be interested! Will you take £100 for it tonight tho at around 3.30am?
michiel Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 Looked it up, she's just turned 49. Or is that why you suggested 3.30am?
MrRegieRitmo Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 Were Tredia's not actually sold over here then? Station, I can see the Corolla now, at least in my quote of it anyway. Why only a week?
Mike D Posted April 1, 2009 Author Posted April 1, 2009 Trediii? were sold here. this one came over from Belgium, it was the lady I bought it froms Fathers til he gave up driving, so she brought it over to use as a second car
Guest Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 GR8 4 pretending you're Gene Wilder in "The Woman In Red". Marvellous.Except the part about its gradual destruction by some old hag. If I recall, first the aerial is bent out of shape, then she keys it down the side and it is finally killed by rolling down a hill with no handbrake on. NOT GR8 FOR TREDIAING
Station Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 Hi M8 If Kelly Le Brock is included I might be interested! Will you take £100 for it tonight tho at around 3.30am?]Are you sure? Saw the Corolla on Retro Rides and within a couple hours had insured and picked it up, and then my mate says 'do you want to buy a taxed and MOT'd MR2 for £250.
pompei Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 I still would. Fat chance I'd have the opportunity though but.
gtd2000 Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 I still would. Fat chance I'd have the opportunity though but. Those lips - however bulbous, spring to mind....
Mike D Posted April 1, 2009 Author Posted April 1, 2009 Plenty of room in the back of the Tredia to woo the pouty faced heffer with the mouse skin upholstery

Station Posted April 2, 2009 Posted April 2, 2009 ' I'll take you back to your youth love....... ' I can imagine trying to woo her with the Tredia just because it was in a film she was in in the 80's!
