Focus rear window regulator

It looks like I will at least have the focus for our annual holiday to Devon.

It needs the rear near side electric window regulator replacing.

Anybody know how much from a ford stealer? Difficult to fit or garage job?

It may have to be a garage as I have to clear out my late mother in laws house by next Saturday- which leaves me with fook all time.

Scrapyard. Probably £10-15 for the part. Not difficult so much as a fiddle. Should take no more than an hour to fit.

Likely as not unavailable at Ford. They don't usually keep rare odd stuff like that

Is it the regulator or the motor? A mates Focii window motor stopped working. KwikFux told him new motor & regulator. Internet's told me to give the motor a whack with a mallet a couple of times when operating the control. I was sceptical to say the least, however two good whacks with the back end of my screwdriver got it running just fine again. 2 years later it's still running fine.

Apparently the worm drive clogged up with crap over time and jams. Whacking it dislodges the bits enough to get it moving again.
