I was hoping to go to the sale on Saturday, but unless some planned work on the house has gone exceptionally rapidly it looks like I won’t be able to make it.

One or two slightly poignant things amongst the autojumble/automobilia lots, like 162 and 163 which are paintings and drawings believed to have been done by him, and 165 a lorry with his name painted on the side.

The cars start at 200 on page 19. There’s a few other cars which aren’t from his stash on the last few pages. Raymanboy might be excited by the LeBaron convertible...

Did those Vanden Plas Allegros come with a 1750? I thought they were all 1500s...Also that tax exempt Defender is taking the piss a little...

To be avoided like the plagueThat proper 2A looks nice though.

That yellow 100E is not that bad - I've seen it quite regularly blezzing around Norwich. Sounds quite horny too. The Singer Vogue is a bit of a mixed bag - solid but quite scruffy and with a lot of dents in the roof. The old boy had had it since 1967 and has recently given up driving. It runs like a bag of crap at the moment but drives nicely other than that. Seller wants £650 for it though, which is a lot I reckon given the cosmetic issues.
