I've just confirmed with my younger brother..

 

It was either my old mans at one stage, or it lives very near to a family friend in Hertfordshire, we can't remember which one though..

Yeah, apparently he sold it to someone who took the engine out for a Morris Minor V8 pickup with a Jag rear end..  Dunno what happened to the shell/chassis after that though... the reg was L288 CRY...

Passat went, then nearly came back. Was scrapped I believe.

 

Caravan lives on as a mx hack (sold to a old mates cousin or somesuch)

 

Vectra went to AS chap. Still going afaik.

Currently used as red5 loan car. Looking at you Mo.

The exploded clutch one. Repaired and gone. Shame, grey leather.

Passat did a real good turn for my FiL but was just getting very tired in the ancillary department as most old VAG shit does. Stupid but time consuming things like yet more window regulators, door mechanisms etc.

 

Also had an almighty oil leak

Seem to have accidentally aquired an Escort 1.8 Cabriolet.

 

Hate it when that happens.

 

Obviously ideal vehicle for winter commute. Because England.
