Timewaster Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 From another forum... Seriously...W T F?! And one of the responses:
Mr Average Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 Work in progress? The cut out for the rear door handles and the side repeaters are priceless!
Guest Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 I'd like to see the back doors open, just to work out whether it would be possible for anyone to access the back seat
Station Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 TBH I feel sorry for the owner, it's just a mad thing to do and just have no vision into how bad it looks. It's the type of thing I used to do when I was 17 and had no money but had to improvise to make life less boring.
Station Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 BTW, the original car was fucking ugly in the first place.
HillmanImp Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 How do you put petrol in?:?The fact its a 4 door is brilliant. I would love to see someone driving it.
Anglevan Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 I would love to see someone driving it. I suspect you would need to wait a while - perhaps covertly at 4am in the morning cause i'm sorry there is no way any one would turn up to drive that in daylight !!!! Needs some Leepu 2ft wheel spacers on em If my lad turned up with that it would be banished from my town let alone the drive
Anglevan Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 think someones taking the piss lol ??????I bl00dy well hope so - if it's genuine we need to send the white van round pronto
155V6 Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 Priceless,I don't think he realised a Rover Metro is a few inches longer at the front than an Austin Metro .It would be perfect if it was a diesel
Albert Ross Posted March 29, 2009 Posted March 29, 2009 I remember about 10 years ago when marshalling at Cadwell Park, there was a huge amount of froth about a 6R4 in the Paddock, it looked fucking ace, but there was something iffy..................when the owner popped the bonnet, all was clear. A Sierra XR4x4 had given up it's oily bits, in a very clever conversion. Went well, sounded well, but engine in the bows, not the stern. Handled funny at about 135/140 ish apparently..........
