I now have a dilemma.

 

Crail happens pretty much every month. My dad has just invited me to a vintage car rally / show at Oldmeldrum on Sunday. I kind of want to go to that more.

 

Somebody else can take the 316 down, or I'll take it next month, as I'm certain there's an event in September.

It's probably more of a hassle to get up there than going to Crail. I entered a car into the show at Old Meldrum in 2014...

309 now has a new owner once my mate comes to collect it so that's a no go.

 

I still can't get a water pump for the Montego due to supplier issues so I've got to wait for an eBay delivery.

Been 'out on the sauce' a little bit, but should hopefully turn up still in the 'Lexbarge' 

 

Done a bit of weight saving, taken most of the crap out the boot, spare tyre is removed (full sized alloy) and taking as little fuel as possible. 

Weather looks to be dry, so hopefully set a record for myself!

Came to try get under 15 seconds, managing it on 6 of the many runs I did! Quickest being 14.9 bang on, hitting 96.2mph.

 

Think next time i'll run the car on V-power for a week or two before hand, fully empty the boot (only partly emptied it for today, empty 20Ltr J-Can, fully toolbag, oil, etc still on) and still have over a 1/4 of a tank of fuel in the car. I've a feeling that masking tape will also be used for aero use...
