Regular collection customer at a client's site. This time he took a load of sacks, but I have seen him leave with a boot-full of loose coarse mix.

Brilliant! At least he's washed it to come into town.

As owner of a Volvo saloon, I curse every day I have to fit anything bulky inside it. I wonder if this guy is the same.

I wonder if you could rig up a blower in the back seat? Poke a 4" hose through the ski hatch, fill with loose, mount blower in rear footwell, open rear door and attach more 4" hose to your feed bin. Switch blower on, prepare for madness. Run away.

I think the cows munch it straight out of the boot given the amount of slobber on the rear bumper

You rarely see saloons of that shape, I wonder what the estate/saloon ratio is?

From my scientific* observations of Volvos, when they're newer, there seem to be more balanced ratios of saloons to estates, but as they get older, saloons are allowed to die off, whereas the more useful estates are kept alive longer.

I think we've established the other advantage of the saloons. The first one of course is not giving your back seat passengers a draught when you open the boot. The second is that cows can eat from it.

AS Sorts It Out.

I can remember when Range Rovers were like this.....Now the cows mainly appear to be driving them,

Certainly looks like the cows have been barging against it.

We've got a customer at work who drives a Chrysler Neon which she's had since new.She squeezes in as many 20kg bags of horse feed into the boot & back seat as she can  :-D

Whilst there is a great deal of old chod rocking up every day, this will never be beaten I don't think. This was taken in 2006.
