some of you might be aware that I run a youtube channel dedicated to OEM videos, technical videos, salesman videos, training videos, promo videos.

the idea being to get them digitised before they get binned or broken.

 

so this is a call out to see if any of you have any old VHS videos knocking about...that you may want to sell or lend to digitise?

 

most material is from mid 1980's to early 2000's, it started off as an AR/BL/Rover channel, but I have most marques represented now and a lot of American stuff too.

Not of any help to you now but...... About twelve years ago I was given the keys to a former BMW showroom that the dealer had recently moved out of in Accrington as the Scottish purveyor of motor vehicles had just purchased it.

 

Anyway, as was always the case in that situation, the first job was to search the place for any treasure that might have been left behind. In this case we found dozens of BMW videos but little else of interest. Sad to report they all went in the skip...

I had a load of MG Rover video's, some got binned but I got 55 quid for an MGRv8 launch video on Ebay. Mad.

My missus is a music technology teacher and she wrote to loads of manufactures for their TV & Radio advertising material to study.  Only Honda replied.  And they really replied, hugely generous amounts of materials sent to the school.  It paid off; her mother went and bought a new Civic not long afterwards

Nothing useful to add, but just spent 47 minutes watching Chris Goffey and some Brummie businessmen evaluate the new 800 against the completion .

Don't know why there aren't millions of them out there, Lord Sterling has got it right ,the rest of us must be mad, where can I buy an 825i manual saloon .
