As the sun was out, both cars were parked together and both working (chances of which are very slim) I thought I'd get a few quick photos

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Datsun is now running strongly and once I have the funds the door will be sprayed the correct colour and the wings sorted. I do have the centre caps for the Golf but not the nuts to put them on. All the problems are now solved bar the handbrake which will be done along with a fresh MOT, then new car time.

 

Oh and if you're wondering why there's a puddle of water under the Datsun, I just changed the rad

That Datsun is superb! My uncle had one back in 1990 in that colour, it was known as "The Turquoise Turd"!!!

Was that Datsun in South London before sporting reflective plates!

It was, when I bought the car I was told an old boy in London owned it for nearly 30 years. It has a London dealer sticker but not sure if it's the original supplier. The last owner lived near Gloucester, did you see it in London way?Oh and plates are for off road and show use, the above pictures are a very clever photoshop

Ok, update time. Golf is broken and I don't have the time/money/enthusiasm to fix it right now. The Datsun however is going strong and now has some not so shite wheel on. Bought some 14 inch Wellers and got my mate Scott (Uncle Silvia on here) to get some moody photos

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

They also came with Yokohama Advan 032 road legal track tyres, which must rank as one of the most overkill tyre to power ratios in history!
