True story - I was once asked by a couple of transsexuals to go look at a SWB transit they were thinking of buying. While I was busy checking sills and steps and looking at the condition of the DI "conversion" for it had been a pinto van originally, the seller commented that I looked like I had experience with trannies which made both the "girls" laugh. No-one explained to him why that was funny, even after they bought the van and said "It's got a name now, it's called TRANNY!" before laughing again and both giving him big hugs.

I believe that when they first came out (the vans of course ) they were equipped with transistor radios (known then as 'trannies') for light entertainment. I think that modifying your search to include all three terms, geting a complete set, and posting a picture in this thread to prove it, would make you an official Hero of Autoshite
