Local car show pics

Took the plunge and drove the Plymouth on it's first real road trip albeit on 10 miles into town for the local car show. First impressions are that it needs an alignment as it feels like it's floating everywhere. Brakes are adequate but require a strong right leg. The new radiator and electric fan are keeping the engine cool and it didn't break down.

With that onto the car show pics. Not much shite and somehow I inexplicably missed taking any pictures of a silver Ford Pinto that was there but here's the rest

If you like maroon here's your car....Dodge Daytona

Rare Skyliner. These had an all electric power roof, none of your hydraulics here.

Finally my Plymouth. Bit embarrassed but it was awarded 2nd place in the rat rod category. That's not an intentional look I'm going for, just where it happens to be,

An interesting variety there.

Amused to see that owners sitting on deckchairs behind their car at shows is an international thing.

Great photos, liking your Plymouth too....

Loving the wood clad K car convertible.

Didn't John Candy (as Del Griffith) destroy one of them in Trains, Plains and Automobiles?

Some nice cars there darkfour, I like your Plymouth.

I think that is just the traditional thing that you do at car shows. Round here if you go to a lot and fairly often, you tend to see the came cars each time. There is usually a few new kids on the block, so it does not take long to look round. After that it tends to be a fairly long day.

The Formica bodied convertible looks as if belongs to the Florida branch of autoshite.

I'm sure that was on eBay over here not too long ago, you mean they made more than one?

Super pics. I'd love to get to the states to see some of these small town shows.

I'll take the Bonneville if nobody protests, I love the overtly huge, ostentatious late 50s sedans.
