Farmer spec

A bit o' tractor shite for those that like it... I've been offered this little gem for £600 which is a right bargain I reckon so I'm gonna snap it up for a bit of farming action. It's a Massey Harris from the early 50's, not sure what year it yet but probably earlier than '54. It's a French built one (just been imported here) and in brilliant condition... even the headlights work! Got a plough, a drag and a grass cutter too. Now that's what I call real patina 8)

Looks great!!!Spent many a (youthful working) hour on a M-F 35, so should be good fun!

That's smashin'. Reminds me of George Adamson's illustrations in Ted Hughes' 'The Iron Man'.

Is it old, obscure or shite? Is it rusty or would it rust prolifically if left unattended for 5 minutes?Doesit have an engine in it?Then it qualifies.

That's what it's all about! Gorgeous tractor and like you say, actual proper patina. So how come farmers reckon they need £200,000 tractors every few years to stay in business? £500 and a sack of potato seeds is all you need, get sowing! I want to see Ratdat's Farm Shop up and running next week :)

Thats lovely! I'd love an excuse to have something like that.
